The commission constituted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding Rental Power Plants case has issued notices to all the interested people who want to appear before the commission.
The writ petition was filed by PML-N leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif pertaining the cause of delay in the installation of two rental power projects, which were to be set up at Nandipur district in Gujranwala and Chicho ki Malian, Sheikhupura district. The SC has constituted a commission over it under the chairmanship of Justice (Retd) Rehmat Hussain Jaffery to probe and determine any negligence on the part of the executive authorities which has caused delay in completion of both the projects.
All the interested people who wish to put down any information, submit an affidavit and appear in person during proceedings on the rental power projects are advised to send their full particulars to the chairman of the commission, which is stationed at the Supreme Court of Pakistan before November 24.
