A 6.3 magnitude earthquake jolted various parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) on Eid day triggering panic in the areas.
As per details, the epicenter of the quake was more than 200 kilometers north of Islamabad in Hindukush mountain range. Tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Charsadda, Shangla, Hazara, Nohshera, Abbottabad, Haripur, Chakwal, Swat, Bajaur Agency, Lower Dir, Malakand among various other areas.
No damages are reported initially.
