Riphah varsity holds award-distribution ceremony

Keeping alive the tradition of Islamic International Medical College Trust (IIMCT) and Riphah International University (RIU), Employees Performance Appreciation Awards Distribution Ceremony was also organised this year also by the Human Resource Department (HRD).
The organisation inspires the employees for hard work and sincerity by all possible means. The high achievers are encouraged for good work in different fields and duly awarded for their bright accomplishment.
The annual cash awards-distribution ceremony brings forward talents, contributions and achievement of the employees to keep instances of splendour for others. An important feature of this year’s ceremony was distribution of ‘Star Performer of the Year’ certificates among the best performers from different departments of the organisation.
This is for the first time that such certificates have been distributed amongst outstanding performers and this idea has been welcomed and appreciated by all.
Executive Director Asadullah Khan presided over the ceremony and Najam Khan graced the event as the guest of honour. The ceremony commenced with recitation of the holy Quran, followed by brief comments by HR Senior Manager Sahib Khan Saif regarding objective of the ceremony.
Around 90 employees, including 58 from IIMCT and 34 from RIU were given the cash awards in all the three categories of staff, faculty and management. A total amount of Rs 800,000 was given away as cash awards. Heads of the departments were invited to the stage to give the cash award letters.
Najam Khan and the executive director distributed ‘Star Performer of the Year’ certificates amongst 23 achievers –14 employees from the trust and 9 from RIU.
PRH Paediatric Department was declared as the best department of the organization. Dr Samia Naeem Ullah received the shield from Najam Khan and Asad Ullah Khan.
The executive director, in his closing speech, threw light on the importance of Performance Appraisal Activity and said the achievement of targets and commendable performance by the employees throughout the year was really an award for him.
