A man tried to throw his shoe at Pervez Musharraf when he was addressing a gathering, a media report here said on Saturday. It was the second such attempt on the former Pakistan president.
The attempt was made when Musharraf was addressing the Kashmiri community in Luton. Security personnel promptly caught hold of the man and took him out of the venue while another man raised slogans against Musharraf.
This is not the first time that an attempt was made to throw a shoe at Musharraf. In February this year, a man threw a shoe at Musharraf when he was addressing a gathering in Britain but the shoe didn’t hit him.

I don`t think throwing shoes at people who no longer matter proves anything. If you really want to vent your frustration, do it by VOTING for the right person, and for the right reasons. Clearly, the PPP, the PML (N), and the MQM are ruled out in these categories. Only people like Imran seem to be our best bet for a stable Pakistan.
Musharraf is responsible for the murder of Akbar Bughti and thousands of others. He protected and patronized those who raped the daughters and sisters of Pakistan. This was a deranged, corrupt man who had no morals and no background, a coward who cannot face justice and has run away. Once out of uniform he behaved like a rat. He is and was a source of shame for this country and the institution of the army.
