Former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jehangir has warned that Balochistan was being pushed towards rebellion, which was dangerous for the integrity of the country.
Talking to reporters at the Supreme Court on Friday, Asma held former president Pervez Musharraf responsible for the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti and said he must be tried by a court of law. She said there was no insurgency in Balochistan or ethnic and sectarian war when Musharraf pushed Balochistan towards rebellion. She said it was wrong on part of former prime minister Shaukat Aziz to dissociate himself from Bugti’s murder.
