The Sindh High Court (SHC) issued notices on Tuesday in a petition filed by 13 nursing students against the provincial Nursing Board’s refusal to enrol them for the first year examinations.
A division bench of the SHC including Chief Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi issued notices to respondents including the provincial health secretary, Pakistan Nursing Council registrar, Nursing Board director, Burraq School of Nursing administrator and federal and provincial law officers.
The students, through their counsel Ishrat Ghazali, submitted that they were admitted to a three-year nursing programme in the institution.
After the completion of the first year, they have come to know that they would not be allowed to appear in the forthcoming examinations by the Nursing Board due to an affiliation dispute between the board and the institution.
We would further be able to put more of the sufficient details and possible provisions of interest which will either bring more of the vital opinions which students must need to reflect upon. personal statement for fellowship
