Expressing serious concern over the financial mismanagement and delay in the construction of the 969MW Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project (NJHP), Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday directed the Ministry of Water and Power and WAPDA to work out the financial plan in consultation with the Ministry of Finance in order to expedite the project. Chairing a meeting to review progress on mega power projects, including Neelum-Jhelum, Kohala, Nandipur and electricity import from India, the PM directed NJHP authorities to submit their financial plan.
