An association of landlords from F-8 Markaz visited Tuesday Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) and discussed the matter of shifting of courts from the market.
According to a press release issued here, the main agenda of the meeting was regarding shifting of courts from the market because of which the landlords as well as the residents of the area were suffering for the last more than 20 years being a security hazard for the residents of the area. The rental value of the property as well as its resale value in the area is the lowest among all the commercial hubs of the city. Traffic nuisance and waste mismanagement and chocked sewerage are causing smell. The landlords appealed the business community to take up the issue with the authorities concerned so that the matter could be resolved. They said it was high time for courts to be shifted from the centre of posh residential neighborhood which they said would provide relief to the landlords as well as the residents of the locality.
Yassar Sakhi Butt, President ICCI was also of the view that the entire community was facing a high security risk and the customers were not able to approach the market because of placement of barricades surrounding the court premises.
