Former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has denied his involvement in the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti.
In a letter to Balochistan provincial government, Shaukat Aziz said that he had no connection with the killing of the Baloch nationalist leader.
It may be pointed out that during a hearing of the Nawab Akbar Bugti’s murder case, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court Qazi Faiz Essa directed the provincial home department to repatriate those accused of involvement.
Justice Essa asked Deputy Attorney General Malik Sikandar if any steps had been taken in order to bring former president Pervez Musharraf and former premier Shaukat Aziz back to Pakistan to stand trial.
Responding to that, Malik Sikandar told Justice Essa that he would contact the federal government in that regard.
Moreover, the provincial government of Balochistan also received a letter from Shaukat Aziz saying that he had no connection with the killing of the Baloch nationalist leader.

  1. They killed one man. Our current political leadership and its heavy handed gangster tactics have killed thousands in this year alone. Where is the justification for this? Who can honestly deny that these terrorists activities within Karachi and Sindh at large are NOT the work of our political parties?

  2. Well Mr. Shaukat Aziz, OK, tell us what you and your government did to protect the life of a very prominent Pakistani citizen, and after he was killed why did you not appoint a commission to investigate the circumstances of the killing of Mr. Akbar Bugti and why your government denied the heirs of Mr. Akbar Bugti to attend his burial?
