An additional district and session (AD&S) judge on Tuesday adjourned the hearing till November 4 of an application filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid’s (PML-Q) leader Ahad Malik’s daughter, Ayesha Malik, seeking registration of a case against police officials for keeping her and her teenaged daughter in illegal detention and subjecting them to torture.
On Tuesday, counsels of the respondents submitted their power of attorney to contest the petition seeking time to prepare the case. The court, giving time to the counsels, adjourned the hearing till the next date.
