‘ISO-9001-certified 1339 Complaint Centre needs to be revived’

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Roshan Ali Shaikh directed the officers concerned on Monday to revive the 1339 Complaint Centre before Eidul Azha.
He was being briefed at his Camp Office on the Citizens’ Complaints Management System 1339, Command and Control Surveillance System and Health Management Information System.
Parks and Recreation Director General Liaquat Ali Khan, executive district officers of finance and municipal services and representatives of the companies concerned were present on this occasion.
“The 1339 service must be restored in Bin Qasim and Gadap Town within three days. It should also be revived in Keamari Town before Eid,” the DCO instructed the officers.
He said that the city government and town administrations will be receiving complaints on the number 1339 during Eidul Azha and they should be addressed immediately.
The DCO recalled that the 1339 Complaint Centre of the city government was awarded the ISO-9001 certification. “Therefore, it should carry on its performance and maintain this status.”
 Shaikh warned that negligence in this regard will not be tolerated and the official concerned will be transferred immediately.
The DCO also took strict notice of tree chopping at Shahrah-e-Faisal. He directed the Parks and Recreation director general to lodge an FIR and take legal action against those involved in this act.
Later, the Parks and Recreation director general submitted an application at the Ferozabad police station for registration of an FIR against the illegal tree-cutting.
