Nature still not finished with Sindh?

After the passage of over three months since monsoon floods in lower Sindh that uprooted over 9 million people, who are still suffering due to lack of interest on the part of the government and aid agencies, the Pakistan. Meteorological Department on Sunday evening predicted more rains in the flood-hit areas from Tuesday (tomorrow).
According to a fresh advisory issued by National Weather Forecast Centre Director Dr Muhammad Hanif, a well-marked low pressure area developed over the central parts of the Arabian Sea has intensified into a depression or strong weather system located 1200km south-southwest of the Balochistan coast.
“This strong weather system is moving in the northwest direction and is likely to hit the eastern coast of the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, causing widespread heavy rains accompanied by strong gusty winds there,” the advisory said. The advisory also said that under the influence of this weather system, widespread rains – heavy at times – are also expected in southern Balochistan and lower Sindh, including Karachi, between Tuesday and Thursday.
It was further said that the flood-affected areas of lower Sindh might also receive scattered rains with thundershowers on Wednesday and Thursday. The advisory advised the fishermen of Sindh and Balochistan not to venture into the open sea between Tuesday and Thursday because the sea conditions are very likely to remain between rough and very rough during the period.
