Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab ameer Dr Waseem Akhtar said on Saturday that incompetent and corrupt government should come to an end. Waseem said that the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Steel Mills and Pakistan Railways had become a burden on the nation, while the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had adopted a policy of exploitation of masses, to achieve personal interests.
He said the corrupt leaders would be rejected by the nation in the up-coming elections, adding that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) was responsible for the problems being faced by the people since they had adopted the stance of friendly opposition earlier and were now carrying out so-called protests against the federal government.
