LAHORE – As many as two matches were played in the 8th Pakistan Premier Football League on Saturday and both ended in draw. Police and Muslim FC match were one-all draw at the Sadiq Shaheed Stadium, Quetta. Police scorer was Naseeb Ullah who scored in the 75 minute while Muslim FC got their goal through Saeed Ahmed in the 53rd minute.
PIA and KPT played a two-all draw at the Peoples Football Stadium, Karachi. PIA scorers were Shakir Lashari in the 37 minute and Muhammad Ishtiaq in the 52 minute while KPT scorers were Naveed Ahmed. Staff Report
CLC victorious in women’s cricket
LAHORE – CLC won its match of the 3RD U-19 District Regional Women Cricket Championship against Polo Club by seven wickets at Kinnaird College ground. Polo Club made 84 for all in 14.5 overs. UMT win Mind War Chess C’ship
LAHORE – The UMT Chess Club and the Office of Participants Affairs (OPA) announced here that UMT chess team won Mind War – the 1st UMT Intervarsity Chess Championship. The Championship was held at the UMT campus in collaboration with the Punjab Chess Association. Some of the best chess teams and players from universities of Lahore participated in the tough competition.
Captain UMT chess team Ehtisham ul Haq was declared the Best Player. GC University, Lahore, secured the second position while Fast National University got the third position. Staff Report
