The City District Government of Karachi (CDGK) has arranged a fumigation campaign in all towns of the city to ensure there is no outbreak of diseases during Eidul Azha. Under its plan, 36 vehicles will carry out fumigation in 18 towns – two vehicles to cover each town – for four days; starting from November 6 to 9.
Each vehicle will cover eidgahs, mosques and imambargahs, while one vehicle will be kept as backup at the DCO’s Camp Office to deal with emergency complaints. Offal collecting will be carried out during the three days of Eid. The town administrators have also been requested to depute an officer to supervise work. The officer would then submit a report later.
