ANP questions role of Imran, his source of funding

Awami National Party (ANP) Information Secretary Senator Zahid Khan has said that his party is siding no side in the current political confrontation but party’s Vice President MNA Bushra Gohar asked Imran Khan to allow audit of his party first, as sources of funding to Tehreek-e-Insaaf are not clear.
In an interview with Online, Senator Zahid asked the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and the Pakistan Tehree-ke-Insaaf (PTI) to focus on evolving a strategy to address real issues through negotiations. He said that public pressure was suitable against a dictator but now the parliament was fully functional and role of opposition exists within the set up.
He said that activities like public gatherings and demand for a change through agitation were not appropriate in a democratic set-up. The ANP leader said that his party understands that the approach towards the so-called change was wrong as a mechanism was already in place in the system itself.
MNA Bushra Gohar said that her party has a policy and would be never part of the gimmick politics. “They are telling each other to mind their languages. Does that make some sense,” she said. The PML-N was still a major player and it enjoys government in the majority province of Punjab and cling to opposition role in the centre, she said.
Turing to Imran Khan, she said, “I feel that he is a spokesman of someone else.” Who does provide him funds is not clear to anyone, even if a worker pays for PTI, it should have a record of it, she said. She also said that so far elections within PTI were not hold and Imran Khan has been its chairman for the last 15 years, “This is itself a dictatorial-style of ruling.”
Imran never hold protests when the people were attacked by bombs or when the mosques were rocked by blasts, she said. She said that rather the PTI chairman always defends militants. “Major portion of the population in Pakistan is youth who feel attraction in the past hero of cricket. It is worrisome that the youth especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are misguided,” she said.

  3. Imran has repeatedly told everyone to simply audit him if they doubt his explanation of gathering founds from expats, workers etc.As for being a chairman for 15 years, we all know the answer to that lol

    • were trying to be sarcastic. Idiot, read PTI press release which will tell you how much was funds were raised for PTI during IK last weeks trips to UK, UAE and the US. Now your small brain would be thinking who were the people who paid??? Those were people like me who pledged to give money to PTO only to change current corrupt system. So pls do not insult us and do not spread you ignorance

      PTI is the only party that has audited financial statements and they are available for your kind review should you be interested. But again, that's not where your interest lies, as your main intention is to just spread nonsense.

    You have looted this nation for 6 decades, pls let us live with some dignity.

    And yes, I hope you will not be following the footsteps of your leader bacha khan who categorically stated not to bury him in Pakistan due to his hatred of this soil.
