Qasim Zia, President Pakistan Hockey Federation, has urged the newly-appointed PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf to play his due part in bringing back international teams to Pakistan.
Qasim on Friday evening met Zaka at the PCB headquarters and congratulated him on his appointment. He also apprised him of visit of Chinese team in December and hoped it would open doors for the revival of international sports in Pakistan.
He discussed the matters relating Sports in Pakistan, especially holding of international competitions in the country, which unfortunately are suspended because of attack on Sri Lanka cricket team.
He also described him the need of international team’s return to Pakistan and asked Zaka to play his role in bringing back international team to Pakistan.
