A month-long workshop on “Water Colour Techniques” for amateur artists concluded here Friday at Kuch Khaas, Center for Art, Culture and Dialogue.
Students and artists from various educational institutions of twin cities were among the participants while Mahjabeen Atif, a graduate of NCA conducted the workshop with basic and advanced techniques of water colour painting.
Different techniques that she employs in watercolor painting are dry brush, wet-in-wet, blending, hard and soft, lost and found edges, salt, spatter, etc. and each student practices the techniques on a single sheet of watercolor paper.
