17 outlaws arrested; car and liquor seized

The city police on Friday claimed to have apprehended 17 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 47 liquor bottles, 500 grams of hashish, weapons, a car and looted items from their possession.
Bhara Kahu SHO Inspector Mehboob Ahmed, assistant sub inspectors, Muhammad Ishaq, Javed Iqbal and Muhammad Usman apprehended Arshad Mehmood, Irfanul Haq, Ihsan Ullah, Muhammad Sohail, Tufail Ahmed and Mamoon Masih and recovered a snatched car, four pistols, 500 grams of hashish and 45 bottles of liquor from them.
Sub Inspector Liaqat Ali of Kohsar police apprehended Faisal and Shan from Sector F-7 Markaz for alms seeking while ASI Sabir Hussain Shah nabbed Rizwan and Imran for possessing liquor. ASI Asghar Ali of Tarnol police arrested Lal Syed for keeping a 12-bore gun and cartridges. Sub Inspector Muhammad Tehseen nabbed five dacoits, identified as Amin, Noor Khan, Ahmed Khan, Ghulam Qadir and Jameel Ahmed and recovered mobile phones and snatched cash worth Rs 35,000 from them. Koral police also apprehended a thief, Abdul Wakeel.
