Newage qualified for the main final of the Novices Polo Cup on Thursday while Addisseo qualified for the subsidiary final after winning their matches. Newage beat Hira Valves 6-4 with Shah Shamyl Alam hitting five goals in the total of six his side got in the final. On the other hand in the two-chukker matches between Adisseo, Guard Group and Nurpur, Adisseo won both of their matches. The margin of win for Adisseo was almost the same. Adisseo first beat Guard Group two-and-a half to one and then beat Nurpur 2-1 and qualified for the subsidiary final. After losing to Adisseo, Guard Group thrashed Nurpur by four goals to one-and-a-half. Hassan Ali Farrukh and Omar Asjad Malhi supervised the two-goal matches while the game between Newage and Hira Valves was officiated by A Nawaz Tiwana and Kh Waleed Zubair.
