Astounding results can be achieved if international bodies like the UNESCO, with its vast experience, can lend a helping hand to the Punjab government in promoting mass literacy, Provincial Secretary Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik said while talking to UNESCO Chief of Section for Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Venkata Subbarao Illapa Vuluri in Paris through tele-conferencing, at his office on Wednesday.
The Paris-based UNESCO team also included Senior Programme Specialist Clinton Robinson, Programme Specialist Sayeeda Rahman and Yura Shin.
