The Police Department on Monday suspended two police officials, including a former station house officer (SHO) in compliance with the recommendations of the Kharotabad enquiry tribunal.
According to a senior police official, the department dismissed Fazalur Rehman, the former SHO and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Raza Khan from service in light of the tribunal’s recommendations which held them responsible for the Kharotabad incident in which five foreigners, including three women were killed.
