The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) clarified on Tuesday that its reinstated employees will be paid their third installment on November 30.
A department spokesman said that the SNGPL had reinstated 220 management trainees and 614 SNPs (ex-project term employees) in the executive and the subordinate cadre, respectively. He said that the company had given them one grade higher than the grade in which they were serving before they left the company on completion of their training period or when the project for which they were hired was completed. The spokesman said that the first two installments of arrears were paid on the due date, whereas, the third installment in case of management trainees was paid on October 20, which was in accordance with the Reinstatement Act. In case of SNPs, who have been regularised in the subordinate cadre, the third instatement is due before December 1, which will be paid along-with the salary on November 30. The company had not disregarded the directions of the Reinstatement Act and all actions were inconformity with the clauses of the said act.
