Implementing the report on Kharotabad incident, Balochistan IG dismissed the SHO and ASI of Airport police.
Following the gunning down of 5 foreigners by law enforcement personnel in Quetta on May 17 this year, a judicial commission, headed by Balochistan High Court chief justice, was established to investigate the incident.
The commission submitted its report to the provincial government in which it held 3 police officials responsible for the incident and recommended their dismissal.
In addition to the commission’s report, a high level committee of police department declared Former SHO Fazalur Rehman, ASI Raza khan and Ex-CCPO Jawood Junju responsible for the incident.
Taking action on the two reports, the accused police officials have been dismissed. Balochistan IG told that the step was taken in accordance with the recommendation of the probe commission and investigation committee. Police department also requested the federal government to take action against the CCCP.
