Despite wanting quorum, Balochistan Assembly on Tuesday adopted two resolutions: paying homage to deceased Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Begum Nusrat Bhutto and demanding the government to make corrections in the voters’ list. Deputy Speaker Matiullah Agha presided over the session, which was attended by only11 members despite the requirement of 17 members to meet the quorum. None of the members pointed out at the lack of quorum despite an army of ministers in the province. Provincial Minister Zahoor Buledi tabled the joint resolution about the flaws in the voters’ list. Members also condemned the targeted killing of Dr Mazaar Baloch and urged the law enforcing agencies to unearth the killers.
