At least 12 people were injured on Wednesday when a bomb exploded in Faqir Klay market in the outskirts of Peshawar. Police said the bomb ripped through a shop in the cloth market when people were busy shopping. The injured, including two children and a woman, were taken to the city’s main Lady Reading Hospital. Preliminary investigation suggested that an improvised explosive device (IED) was placed inside the shop. Several shops were also damaged in the explosion, which police said was aimed at creating panic among the people. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Agencies
