Students took out a rally and staged a sit-in in protest against inaccuracies in the Intermediate Examinations results and the prevalent online system.
The protesting students hailing from various government and private educational institutions protested in a procession, which were held across the province including Rawalpindi, Lahore and Sargodha.
The protesters raised slogans against the online system and Punjab government. They also staged a sit-in causing holdup in traffic at important arteries of the cities.
The demonstrators dispersed after assurance of the Chairmen of the concerning boards (Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education) to cancel the results and set them up afresh.
