Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) central leader Moonis Elahi, recently acquitted from the NICL corruption case, left for London on Monday. Jehangir Saleem, Moonis’ father-in-law, passed away in England two months ago, and Moonis Elahi could not attend his funeral as he was in jail. They said Moonis’s family was already in London, and he had gone to mourn the death of his father-in-law with his in-laws. Moonis Elahi surrendered to the FIA upon his return from London, where his in-laws are settled. The high court released Moonis Elahi in the the NICL case. PML-Q sources said Moonis would return to Pakistan after two weeks.
