Ghinwa demands Nusrat’s body be brought to Clifton

Daughter-in-law of Begum Nusrat Bhutto and Pakistan People’s Party – Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB) Chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto said on Sunday that the body of Begum Nusrat Bhutto should be brought to Al-Murtaza House and 70 Clifton before burial.
Talking to reporters at 70 Clifton, Ghinwa said that Nusrat Bhutto’s homes were 70 Clifton and Al-Murtaza House, therefore her body should be brought there before it is buried. She said that Nusrat Bhutto had died many times. She had died with the death of her husband, her sons and then her daughter.
Fatima Bhutto, granddaughter of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, said that Nusrat Bhutto’s daughter-in-law and grand children were not called by any body to inform them about her death. Fatima said that it was a great tragedy for the family, adding that Begum Nusrat Bhutto had been kept away from the family and the country for 15 years.
Fatima said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto suffered tragedies as she lost her husband at the hand of a military dictator and tragic death of three children in her life. “She suffered from the violence of military regime and faced every tragedy with credible courage,” she said. She had left a golden example of struggle against tyrannical forces, Fatima added.
Ghinwa Bhutto, along with Fatima Bhutto and Zulfiqar Junior, left for Larkana on Sunday evening, to attend the funeral of Begum Nusrat Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
