Clifton police on Sunday arrested an alleged target killer who is said to be involved in the killings of 250 people, official said.
The police conducted a raid in the city’s Clifton area and apprehended the most wanted target killer identified as Yasir alias Dada, SP Naeem Sheikh said.
Police also recovered a huge cache of arms from the target killer who confessed to killing of 250 people including DSP Nawaz Ranjha, Inspector Nasir-ul-Hasan and dozens other policemen.
The suspect was also allegedly involved in an attack on various police stations in the city, the official said, adding that the suspect belongs to a political party.
