QUETTA – A Hindu trader was kidnapped by unidentified armed men on Saturday. Ravi Kumar was kidnapped in the precincts of the Satellite Town Police Station in Kakar Town by unidentified armed men. On gun-point, the kidnappers forced Kumar into their car and escaped from the scene.
The police reached the site upon receiving information. Police sources said that security had been tightened and raids were being conducting to recover Kumar. It could be a case of kidnapping for ransom but so far the kidnappers have not contacted Kumar’s family for ransom, the police sources added.
Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has strongly condemned the kidnapping of Kumar and directed the concerned authorities to ensure immediate recovery of the member of minority community. Staff Report
