LAHORE – Six more people passed away due to dengue in Punjab on Saturday while one died in Chichawatni while 300 new patients were confirmed. According to details, Aslam, 50, resident of Iqbal Town and Mubashir, 50, of Samanabad died in Ganga Ram Hospital while Shakeel, 30, of Jaranwala passed away in Mayo Hospital Lahore.
Rashid, 99, Imran of Ghaziabad lost their battle against the dengue virus at Services Hospital. Ghulam Murtaza, 40, succumbed to the disease in Chichawatni. The official death toll has climbed up to 266 in Punjab and 235 in Lahore. Staff Report
