The police institution has neglected its human resource potential for long and does not give proper focus to training programmes for polishing the professional skills of their staff.
This is one of the reason police officials are found lacking in many aspects, including dealing with the public, as they find it hard to convey their message to the common citizens. This as a result also has created a vast distrust regarding police within the public. It is imperative that continuous and rigorous trainings are adopted by the police, which will assist them in doing their duties.
