Former Law minister Baber Awan has said that Punjab govt is spending its resources on public rallies instead of curbing dengue.
Talking to media at the house of PPP’s worker Akber Khan, he said that at least eight people had been falling victim of dengue on daily basis whereas Punjab government was spending its resources on public gatherings.
Nawaz Sharif should participate in the funeral prayer of dengue-hit patients rather than leaving for oversees tours, he added.
While highlighting the academic issues, he said that what kind of good governance that a large number of students were forced to come out on roads. Awan also urged judiciary to take suo motu on dengue issue.
