Professor Dr ZA Qureshi of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) has been invited by the Election Commission of Kyrgyz Republic to observe the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan, which are being held on October 30.
Professor Qureshi who is the head of NUML’s International Relations Department will be one of the international observers who will be overseeing the electoral process of the Central Asian republic, says a press release issued here on Friday.
After observing the presidential elections in Bishkek, Prof Qureshi will fly to Kazan, Tatarastan and the Russian Federation to participate in an international conference titled: “Islam in Multi-culture World” which is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 3. Earlier, Prof ZA Qureshi also visited Azerbaijan from October 7-3 at the invitation of Elmar Mammadyarov of Azerbaijan to participate in Baku International Humanitarian Forum set up by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Dmitri Medvedev of Russian Federation,” the statement added.
