A man and his wife were found murdered in Sohrab Goth on Friday. The couple was allegedly killed by brother of the murdered woman. The police shifted the bodies to the Jinnah hospital.
Separately, police found a body in the Manghopir area. The deceased was shot and could not be identified till the filing of this report. The body was shifted to the Jinnah hospital.
A man was killed in Soldier Bazaar while resisting a mobile-snatching attempt by robbers. Police said the body of the victim, Abbas, was shifted to the Jinnah hospital. He was working as a security guard for a private company.
In another incident, a person was shot dead by unidentified people on a motorcycle near the Power House in Baldia Town.
Three people were shit and injured by unidentified people in Korangi. They were taken to the Jinnah hospital.
ARRESTS: Police conducted a raid at a house at Mauripur Road and arrested an alleged important Lyari gangster, Bashir. They also recovered two Kalashnikovs, two TT pistols and a grenade from his possession.
In another raid, police arrested alleged four street criminals, Arshad Babar, Munir and Zeeshan, from North Nazimabad and recovered an SMG with a government number punched on it, a repeater and an MP5 from their possession.
Police also conducted a raid at Khawaja Ajmair Nagri and arrested Shahid alias Munna and Zaheer. A snatched motorcycle and a 7mm rifle were recovered from their possession.
SNATCHED: Unidentified people snatched a vehicle of the Red Cross from Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Friday. According to police, two people on a motorcycle snatched a double cabin van of the Red Cross and escaped from the scene.
