21 outlaws arrested

Islamabad Police on Friday claimed to have arrested 21 criminals from various areas of the city and recovered a total of 1.260 kilogrammes of heroin and two of hashish besides some looted items from their possession.
A spokesman said police in Tarnol area nabbed a woman, identified as Nusrat Begum, and recovered 1.10 kilogramme while Liaqat Masih and Abbas Masih were arrested within the precincts of Kohsar Police Station for having 1.40 kilogramme of hashish and 250 grams of heroin respectively.
The personnel from the Sabzi Mandi Police Station arrested a drug pusher Yasir Zaman and recovered 1.200 kilogramme of hashish. Another accused, Khalid, was held by the policemen from Margallah Police Station over the charges of having a 30 bore pistol. According to the spokesman, six thieves, identified as Altaf, Saleem, Aamir Rehman, Tariq, Jamal and Haroon were arrested by the staff of Golra Police Station. Loot looted items worth hundreds of thousand of rupees were also recovered from their possession. Similarly, Asif, Abdullah and Mulazim along with Usman were arrested on similar charges from Koral and Bhara Kahu respectively.
