Zardari, Nawaz puppets of USA: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that President Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif were equally responsible for plundering national wealth and they did not give anything to the people except failures and discontentment.
Talking to a delegation led by Council of National Affairs leader Ghulam Mustafa Mirani here on Friday, Imran said Zardari and Nawaz are puppets of the United States and ready to do anything at the dictation of their masters.
The PTI chief said that Nawaz Sharif was least interested in launching a real movement to remove the government and was only waiting for his turn. He pointed out that PML-N sided with the government for three and a half years and was now taking out rallies to salvage its image. He expressed confidence that people would not befooled by such tricks.
He said his party would come to power with the backing of the masses and not through the backing of establishment. However, he said he wants to tell the establishment to ensure free and transparent elections and not support any political party. He said whenever free and fair elections were held, nobody would be able to stop Tehreek-e-Insaaf from a landslide victory.
He said Nawaz Sharif was desperate to become the prime minister and for this purpose he was welcoming the seasonal birds, plunderers and lotas.
Moreover, he said Nawaz, who is never tired of declaring Pervez Musharraf as a traitor, owes it to the people to tell what he himself was doing by taking the former companions of Musharraf in his party.
Imran alleged that the provincial government was creating all sorts of hurdles in holding PTI public meeting on 30th October. He, however, said this pubic meeting would be successful and people of Lahore would prove that they were not with any thief or robber but with PTI.

  1. More pointless rhetoric. How are Zardari and NS slaves of the US? Do they guide Pakistans foreign policy or does GHQ? Do they set Paksitans security policy or does the GHQ? Do they detail intelligence policy to the ISI or does the GHQ? IF they were the ones dealing with the US why does Kayani and Pasha need to give breafings to parlimentarians on Pakistans policy towards the US, and what they told US officials? Stop this nonsense. Zardari and Sharif are no angels, but placing blame on them for something that they are not responsible for and not having the guts to put the responsibility of Pakistans military and foreign policy at Kayanis desk just shows the petty oppourtunism of IK and the PTI.

      Mr. Nadir, you are missing a main point. Our so-called champions of democracy (N And AZ) never deliver whenever they get a chance to govern. This is their height of incompetence and corruption that within 2-3 months of their rule that masses start looking for military rule. Talk to everyone around you and they will tell you that Musharraf’s regime, besides his some unforgivable blunders, was much better than 3.5 years of this government.

      Point is, if these parties would have delivered even to a very small degree, they would never fear military rule or their dictation on any policy making. But since they are corrupt, they know they do not have any roots in the masses who pay the ultimate price of bringing them in power (and how fair our elections are…34 crore bogus votes – 45 % electoral was bogus) I hope you see some sense here.

      You and others like you are good for nothing. All you can do just criticize. Give a solution too.. And yes tell me if you have a better person to govern this country than IK. Do not tell me you are thinking about Mr. 10% or Mr. Mills unless you are one of them!

  11. yes sir you are right see past since 64 yrs usanever support practicaly in the war because usa and europe never want strong pakistan for their buisness,in 1971 war usa eurpe never support pakistan because the want a weak pakista,not in 65 so they are doing now to make weak pakistan because of such type of greedy leaders of powers,read about pakistan history but now imran and other litrate pakistani and educated youth are power of the nation so now leaders behaving in right direction in public pressure now pakistan has awaked.thanks

Imran is a leader who does not look like a leading politican when he gives these kind of statements about other political leaders at the time when his popularity graph is much higher,greater and consistent than all the opponent heads of the political parties.This approach to get involve in trying to further damage the image of the other parties and leaders can bounce back or for sure not increase PTI's vote bank.PTI should look forwrd to the future and make sure that they prepare from every angle to face these strong established parties and their leaders and win.
