An Osteoporosis Camp giving offering treatment was set up at the Shalamar Hospital Outpatient Department to observe the World Osteoporosis Day. Patients at the camp were provided free BMD tests, while awareness literature and free medicines were given to patients. Moreover, subsidised osteoporosis tests were also done at the camp. According to medics, patients afflicted with osteoporosis are increasing rapidly in Pakistan. Shalamar Hospital Chief Executive Dr. Rashid Rahman and Dr Waqar Saleem visited the camp.
