Pharmaceutical industry opposes India’s MFN status

Pharmaceutical industry has rejected the government proposal to grant Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India. Domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers have indicated that any preferential treatment to Indian industry will badly hit the local industry. “Pakistani pharmaceutical products are the best in export markets, though the country imports some raw material from India.
