Lahore Shalimar in trouble in Quaid Trophy

Peshawar forced Lahore Shalimar to follow on after they were bowled out for 376 runs in their first innings on day three of the Division II match of Quaid-i-Azam Trophy here at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday. Resuming their innings at 101 for two, Lahore were bundled out in 100.5 overs and were at 18 for no loss in second innings. Riaz Afridi was the pick of Peshawar bowlers with five wickets. At the LCCA ground, United Bank overhauled the lead took by Lahore Ravi and were now playing at 236 for five in 72 overs. UBL’s Saad Surkhail scored 88 runs while Ali Asad made 52 runs.
