Government Central Model School, Muslim Model School, Aitchison School and Government High School Kila Lakshman Singh have reached the semifinals of the Lahore Gymkhana School T20 Cricket Championship here on Thursday. Government Central Model School and Kinnaird Club Reds won their matches on Thursday. Government Central Model School beat Beaconhouse Canal Campus by eight wickets. Beacon House made 116 for all. Burhan (44) and Abdullah Asim (24) were the prominent scorers. Raza Ali took four wickets for 23 runs while Abu Bakar and Hamza Ali took three and two wickets respectively.
Central Model School achieved the target for the loss of two wickets. Awais Qarni made unbeaten 53 while Hamza Ali scored 45*. Abdullah Asim took one wicket for 15 runs. Awais was declared the man of the match. Kinnaird Club Reds stunned Garrison boys Club team by eight wickets. Garrison boys were bowled out for just 60 runs. Jabbar with 10 was the highest scorer. Nida Dar grabbed three wickets for 14 runs while Elizabeth and Sana Mir took two wickets each. Kinnaird Club achieved the target of 61 runs for the loss of two wickets. Hina Azam scored 19 runs while Faryal Awan made 17*. Hasan and Talha took one wicket each. Nida was named the player of the match.
