There has been an increasing number of bank heists within the country in the past few years. These bank robberies have also been associated as one of the means for financing terrorist activities. The police have been unable to control the developing trend and proper measures have not been adopted. The banks have also been found sloppy in implementing security procedures. The police and these financial institutions will have to put a combined effort to curb robberies by upgrading security.
