Home based working women held a candlelight vigil in front of the Lahore Press Club on Thursday to commemorate the Home Based Workers (HBW) day being held in all of South Asia. The candle light vigil brought various home based workers together who are underpaid, overworked, and work in unhygienic and hazardous conditions. Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) MPA Seemal Kamran was present at the occasion. Non-Governmental Organisations such as Aurat Foundation, South Asia Partnership Pakistan, Kashf Foundation, and Labour Education Foundation were also there that supported the cause along with Pakistan Home Net.
