Firing, violence claim three lives in Karachi

At least three people were killed and another three were injured in incidents of firing and violence in different areas of provincial capital, according to media reports.
Police have recovered a body of a man from Mangu Pir area who was shot dead by some unidentified persons.
In another incident, a man named Muhammad Abbas was shot dead by dacoits during a robbery attempt in Soldier Bazar. According to police the deceased was the security guard of a private firm.
In Baldia Town near Power House, miscreants shot dead an unidentified man. Meanwhile, three person received injuries in resisting robbery attempts in Korangi, North Nazimabad and Civil lines areas.
On the other hand, CID police arrested an important member of Lyari gang war, Bashir, during an operation at Maripur Road and recovered two kalashnikoves, two TT pistols and one hand grenade from his possession.
In another operation, police arrested four accused named Arshad, Babar, Munir and Zeeshan and recovered a stolen vehicle, one SMG rifle, repeater MP-5 and other arms from them in North Nazimabad.
Police also arrested Zaheer and Shahid, alias Munna, during an operation in Ajmair Nagri and recovered one 7MM rifle and a stolen motorcycle from them.
