The Cantonment police have registered a case against a woman for sending threatening SMS to high-profile personalities, including Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar and MNA Khawaja Muhammad Asif. Zunaira Bibi, a resident of Mohallah Ghaus-e-Azam, had an unsuccessful love affair with one Syed Suleman Haider Gilani of Bherth village. She had a SIM in the name of Suleman Haider and she started sending threatening messages to high-profile personalities through the SIM in depression. After receiving complaints, sensitive agencies started investigations and managed to trace the accused. The case has been registered against Zunaira under section 419 of the PPC and 25-D of the Telegraph Act. However, she is still at large.
