In a somersault move, the Punjab government has once again appointed Mohiyuddin Wani Information Department secretary, relieving Irfan Elahi of the additional charge of the post on Wednesday. The charge of information secretary was withdrawn from Wani and was given to Elahi recently.
An officer on special duty, Dr Ijaz Munir, a grade 20 DMG officer, has been appointed Higher Education Department secretary in place of Haseeb Athar who has been posted as the secretary of the newly-created Sports, Tourism, Youth Affairs and Archeology Department.
