Police virus has been confirmed in five children from various areas of North Waziristan Agency (NWA), a private TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Dr Khandad, in charge of the anti-polio campaign in the area, said the virus detected in five children, including four girls, in tests conducted at a Peshawar laboratory. The children are aged between one-and-a-half-year to three years. He said polio vaccination teams could not go to some areas because of poor security. Samples of another 24 children have been sent to the same laboratory for test.
