Muslim, Central Model win in Lahore Gymkhana Cricket

Government Muslim Model School, Government High School Kila Lakshman Singh and Central Model School won their matches in the Lahore Gymkhana School T20 Cricket Championship here on Wednesday.
Muslim Model beat City School by nine wickets. City School made just 42 runs. Ali Mujtaba scored 11 runs.
Ali Raza grabbed five wickets for 15 runs while Kamran Afzal took two wickets for two runs. Muslim Model achieved the target of 43 runs for the loss of one wicket in 4.5 overs. Zahid score 30 runs. Ali Mujtaba took one wicket for 14 runs. Ali Raza was named the man of the match.
Kila Lakshman Singh School beat Garrison Boys by seven wickets. Garrison were bowled out for 122 runs. Talha Qureshi (31), Hassan Niazi (25) and Hassan Zulfiqar (21) were the prominent scorers. Muhammad Irfan grabbed three wickets for 10 runs while Waseem Khan, Sharjeel and Malik Muzaffar took two wickets each.
In reply, Kila Lakshman School made 123 for three in 12.3 overs. Waseem Khan scored 30 runs while Murad Baloch and Malik Muzaffar score 24 and 24 runs respectively. Abdur Rehman and Raja Nauman took one wicket each. Waseem Khan was declared the man of the match.
In the last match of the day, Central Model School defeated LGS by 53 runs. Central Model made 175 for four. Hamza Ali scored 55 runs while Abu Bakar made 28 runs. Ashash took two wickets for 42 runs. In reply, LGS were bowled out for 122. Ammar scored 29 runs while Sarim Durani made 19 runs. Hamza Ali and Abu Bakar grabbed three wickets each. Hamza was named the man of the match.
Earlier, Government High School Kila Lakhsman Singh team prevailed over Kinnaird Club Reds with a 59 runs win. Beaconhouse Johar Town defeated LGS Johar town by 61 runs. Garrison School Boys beat Garrison Women club by 62 runs.
