The officials of international rugby Union and Asian Rugby Union have assured the Pakistan Rugby Union officials of their complete support and allotment of international events to Pakistan. President PRU Fawzi Khawaja, who is in New Zealand on the invitation of IRU to watch the World Cup, met officials and presidents of various countries officials and found them supportive for the development and promotion of the sport in Pakistan. He is accompanied by Saeed Arif, secretary PRU and coach Rizwan Malik.
Saeed said that the world rugby officials are satisfied with the game’s development in Pakistan and has promised complete support for its further promotion. Rizwan was of the opinion that he has learnt a lot of things while watching the World Cup and would apply those tactics while working with the Pakistan team at home.
